first day/ dia 4 : diumenge, sunday 20.04.03

 

10:00 Esmorzar a l' hotel. Canviem d' habitació, de la 16 a la 20. La primera era interior, ara tenim sol directe.

10:00 Breakfast in the hotel. We change from room 16 to room 20. The first was interior. Now we get a lot of light.


10:45 Enregistrem l' arribada de turistes a la plaça d' accés al Monestir i realitzem algunes consultes als visitants sobre la seva procedència, el seu grau de coneixement del territori i les seves motivacions turístiques.
Coneixem l' anglès Collin, teòric i sanador espiritual, i a la seva acompanyant, que ens parlen de les energies tel·lúriques de la zona i del mapa astrològic aplicable topogràficament.

10:45 We record the tourists arrival in the square leading to the Monastery and ask the visitors where are they from, how much they know the territory and their motivations as tourists.
We meet Collin, an English theorist and spiritual healer, and his companion. They talk about the telluric energies of the territory and about the topographically applicable astrologic map.

12:50 Visitem el Monestir de Santes Creus i prenem imatges dels turistes que circulen pels claustres, que fan fotos, que van en grup, que escolten atentament les explicacions dels guies…

12:50 We visit Santes Creus Monastery and photograph the tourists walking around the cloisters. They are taking photos, walking in groups, listening carefully to the guides’ explanations…
 


14:40 Baixem a dinar al riu amb les empanades que hem comprat a la fira de productes artesanals. Fem fotos a la gent fent picnic al parc. El Joan troba un contacte, es diu Juan i és un gitano de Sabadell, de Torreromeu. Volen que els retratem en família, també filmem una entrevista. Més tard baixem a dinar vora el riu.

14:40 We go down to the river to have lunch. We will eat the pies that we have bought in the craft fair. While going down, we photograph the people picnicking in the park. Joan gets in touch with somebody; his name is Juan, a gypsy from Torreromeu, Sabadell. He wants to be photographed together with all his family. We interview Juan and we record it. Later we go down to have lunch next to the river.


15:50Tornem a l' hotel, carreguem bateries i descansem.


15:50 We go back to the Hotel, charge the batteries and have a rest.


17:00Visitem Montferry, de l' arquitecte Jujol i després l' urbanització Mas Clariana, un nou barri de cases adossades a Valls.

17:00 We visit Montferry, by the architect Jujol and then Mas Clariana housing estate, a new semidetached houses neighborhood in Valls

19:25De camí a Alcover ens aturem a l' alçada de les obres de l' AVE, el terreny està aplanat i podem pujar a fer fotos.

19:25 On our way to Alcover we stop next to the AVE construction. The land is accessible and we can go up to photograph it.

20:10 Arribem a Alcover i entrevistem el Mohamed, un immigrant marroquí que, molt amablement, ens parla dels seus inicis al poble i de com va poder portar la seva família.

20:10 We get to Alcover and interview Mohamed, a Moroccan immigrant that politely explains us his beginnings in the town and how he could bring his family to Catalunya.


20:40 El Joan truca al Daniel Gasol (alumne de Belles Arts), quedem a les 21:00 hores al Pati de Valls perquè ens comenti coses de la seva ciutat. Enregistrem l' entrevista junt amb la façana de l' esglèsia de Sant Joan.

20:40 Joan phones Daniel Gasol (fine arts student), we arrange to meet him at nine p.m. at Pati de Valls, where he will explain us about his town. We record the interview with the façade of Sant Joan Church behind.


22:20 Sopem a l' hotel i anem a dormir.

22:20 We have dinner in the Hotel and go to bed.
